The ancient city of Ile-Ife is currently steeped in celebration as the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his third wife, Queen Tobi Phillips-Ogunwusi, mark the second birthday of their royal twins. The Prince and Princess, who arrived in March 2024, have become a symbol of grace and joy within the House of Oduduwa.
Queen Tobi, a former beauty queen and fashion entrepreneur from Okitipupa, Ondo State, took to social media to share her gratitude.
In a touching tribute, she reflected on: “Two years of nurturing these beautiful humans and I am so great and I am so proud of God’s grace upon our lives”, attributing their growth and the family’s happiness to divine favour.
The Queen, who married the monarch in a colourful ceremony in October 2022, has often been praised for her poise and dedication to her royal duties.
