Twitter went crazy yesterday when Innocent “2Baba” Idibia shared series of tweets berating himself and declaring publicly that he had failed in his duty as a father and role model to his wife, Annie Idibia. He concluded his tweet-storm by praying that his wife would forgive him as he knows she has tried his best.
As if that was not enough, Annie Idibia shared suspicious stories on her Instagram page in which she was lamenting about her temporary insomnia. She said she was unable to sleep due to some bad things. Fans went off with speculations ranging from the musician impregnating another woman to the couple finally breaking up after years of being together.
However, in a recent development, 2Baba has tweeted a retraction of the tweet that started it all, he has retracted his apology. He apologized for disappointing anybody that may have thought that he was asking for forgiveness.
He went on to say this: “thanx 4 all the love and concern and all the curse and yab. world pple I hail”
We are glad that this was all nothing. We certainly don’t want anything happening to our favourite “through thick and thin” couple.
