Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and his new partner, Natasha Osawuru, have paid his mother, Rose Idibia, a courtesy visit ahead of their traditional marriage.
eelive.ng reports that the singer’s mother had earlier expressed concerns about her son’s relationship with Osawuru, begging her to stay away from him.
Rose claimed that 2Baba is not in the right frame of mind due to the ongoing divorce proceedings with ex wife, Annie Macaulay and that Osawuru’s presence in his life was not helping the situation.
However, in a new development, the singer’s mother is seen with the couple at their family residence.
The new photos featured 2Baba, Osawuru, and her mother in a joyful mood. Another photo captured Osawuru kissing her husband-to-be’s mother on the cheek while playfully sticking her tongue out at the camera.

The footage has led to speculation that the singer’s mother supports their relationship.
Meanwhile, 2baba in a new Instagram page allegedly addressed those against his relationship with Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.
In the alleged Instagram post, which has since been deleted, the singer revealed that he and his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay have long be over as he noted how people are judging him because he chose peace of mind and true love.
The singer added that Natasha is his wife and is a woman of dignity, value, beauty and intelligence. .
The father of seven noted how he isn’t one to grant media interviews, hence, why he is speaking out.
Speaking after taking his bride-to-be to meet his mother, 2Baba allegedly wrote on his IG, “Natasha is my peace of my mind. My family loves her and my mum has come to apologize. She was forced to do so.”
He continued saying, “This is 2baba innocent ujah idibia. My official page has been hacked for months. Now Let me set the records straight. Annie Macaulay my ex wife is over with her. You all judge me for deciding to have peace of mind and true love.
“Honorable Natasha Osawaru is my WIFE and she is a woman of dignity, value, beautiful and most of all she is very intelligent. It is unjust to judge me because of what people say. I chose to stay alive for my kids. Honorable Natasha is my peace of mind and she loves my children; they love her also.
“This young lady saved me and deserves to be appreciated not insulted. I am not one to go on the media but I had to speak out. My family loves her and my mum has come to apologise for saying what age said.
“She was forced to do so. Honorable brings value and peace to me. She saved my life. The world should celebrate her. I have filled my divorce to annie macaulay long before now. I owe it to my fans not to fall or fail. Thank you”
