On Friday, April 18, Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke, who is better known as Davido, released his 5th studio album titled 5ive.
The album has been receiving predominantly positive reviews from fans across the globe; however, the song, CFMF, has raised eyebrows due to Davido’s claims in the song.

The singer-songwriter mentioned in the song that he started his life in a one-room apartment in a public compound, known locally as a face-me-I-face-you. Further, he mentioned that he is now living a flamboyant life due to Jesus’s divine intervention.

The particular song has since received negative remarks from netizens and social media users. Social media commentators mentioned that the narrative is fabricated simply because the award-winning singer-songwriter is the son of a billionaire, Oladeji Adeleke, and he grew up in an affluent part of Atlanta.
Hence, it is impossible for the self-acclaimed Omo Baba Olowo (OBO), which means son of a wealthy man, to grow up in poverty.
