Veteran Nigerian movie actor, Patrick Doyle, has taken to the social media platform, Facebook, to analyze the differences between the high-profile wedding ceremonies of Nigerian recording artiste, Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, and his colleague, Mr Eazi, who recently walked down the aisle with Temi Otedola.
In his post on Facebook, Doyle applauded the wedding ceremony of Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola; however, he had some harsh words to describe the nuptial ceremony of Davido and Rowland.

Patrick, via his Facebook page, noted that two huge Nigerian weddings took place simultaneously in the US and Europe. He noted how Davido’s wedding was a gaudy carnival with a motley crowd comprising the famous and infamous, while the other was an exhibition of quiet sophistication and class with a select guest list of equally sophisticated and accomplished personalities.
He stated that the two different weddings are a picture of Nigeria, as Nigerians can be both razz and loud while also possessing the ability to switch on the charm of sophistication and style.

Writing on Facebook, Doyle, who was previously married to Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle, had this to say:
“Two high-profile Nigerian weddings took place more or less simultaneously in the US and Europe. One was a gaudy carnival with a motley crowd comprising the famous and infamous. The other was an exhibition of quiet sophistication and class with a select guest list of equally sophisticated and accomplished personalities.
This is the picture of Nigeria that the world is coming to terms with. We are at once razz and loud while also possessing the ability to switch on the charm of sophistication and style. I swear, I love Nigeria and being a Nigerian”.
