Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has tackled former Big Brother Naija cum actress Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as BamBam, over a recent advise to single young women.
Recall, the reality star, while speaking about her union with fellow reality TV star Teddy, opened up on her journey through marriage, describing it as both challenging and rewarding.
The mother of two revealed that their love story, which blossomed into marriage after the birth of their first child, was far from a “fairy tale.” She admitted that at some point, they both questioned whether their marriage was truly the will of God, as differences and personal growth brought clashes into their relationship.
“I began to evolve as a woman, and he too was discovering himself. Our differences started to clash, and many times we asked ourselves why we were even here. But I held on to God and His promises for my marriage,” she said.
She also urged single women to keep sex out of the mix until marriage, seek counselling, and ensure emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual stability before taking the step.
In response to the remark, the actor called out the reality star for not practicing what she preached when she was single and unmarried.
He said: “But you did not practise what you preach? Abi we no see you, na for BBNaija bathroom.”
BamBam married Teddy A on September 7, 2019 in a traditional ceremony in Ogun State. They had announced their engagement on Instagram on August 4.
