Nollywood actress, Bimpe Akintunde, has taken to social media to announce the birth of her second child.
The film star, in an Instagram on Friday shared photos of her baby bump while dressing in a flowing brown outfit, as she expressed gratitude for the successful delivery.
“And the journey of 9 months ended in praise. Alhamdulilai is my song,” she wrote.
Congratulatory messages have since flooded her page, including one from fellow actor Jamiu Azeez, who also posted some of her maternity pictures on his own Instagram page.
Actor Jamiu Azeez said: “A ti bi mo o .Amoke mi, mo ba e yo @iambimpeakintunde this good news sweet my belle so much Congratulations my sister from another mother, welcome our princess. you shall live to fulfill destiny Insha Allah .”

Bimpe Akintunde who has a daughter from her previous relationship, is popularly known as Wasila Coded in the Yoruba movie industry and has starred in a plethora of movies since her debut appearance in ‘Oore’ in 2007.
Some of the movies she has featured in include ‘Obunin’, ‘Omotodun’, ‘Ana, Tamara’, ‘Wasila Coded’, and ‘Fate of Alakada’. Aside from acting and producing, Akintunde doubles as a producer and content creator.
The actress who revealed that she had been single for almost eight years in 2022, held a spiritual Nikah (Nikai) ceremony on June 25, 2023. She married Yousuph O. Ganiu, a U.S.-based movie producer, becoming his third wife. She shared photos from the ceremony and expressed gratitude for the successful wedding and acceptance by her co-wives.
“This is the Lord’s doing… Meet Mr. and Mrs. Ganiu… Thank you to my darling husbby… Thanks to my co-wives for the love and acceptance,” she had said.
