Nigerian entertainer, Dorcas Shola Fapson, has announced the demise of her one-year-old dog.
Sharing photos and clips of her with the dog, she disclosed that at 3 am on Wednesday, her personal assistant called her crying, telling her that her dog had died in a pet store.

She noted how her dog was fine and said the autopsy showed there was blood in her throat. Calling out the pet store, she questioned how a healthy dog can die in a place that’s supposed to protect and care for animals.
To make matters worse, the owner offered her N500,000 as a gesture, even though she had spent more than that trusting her dog in their care. Expressing heartbreak over her dog’s demise, she demanded answers over her dog’s death.

She wrote, “3 am yesterday, my PA called me crying, telling me my dog, my Bailey baby that I trusted in the care of @pawandpaws_petstore, is dead.
A happy, healthy 1-year-old dog gone just like that, with no explanation.
The autopsy said there was blood in her throat, so what really happened to her?
How does a healthy dog die in a place that’s supposed to protect and care for animals??
No cameras. No footage. No accountability.
Her birthday was just 4 days ago.
I still can’t process that she’s gone.
To add insult to injury, the owner dared to offer me 500k naira as a “gesture”—when I’ve spent more than that trusting you with her care.
No amount of money will ever replace her.
