Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adekunle Olapade has opened up on life inside the reality show house, saying contestants regularly see each other naked.
Adekunle, who was part of the Level Up season in 2022 and later returned for the All Stars edition in 2023, made the revelation while speaking on a podcast interview with Pulse.
He was reacting to the recent controversy over intimate clips involving some housemates Koyin and Isabella, as well as Jason Jae and Sultana.
According to him, it is normal for contestants to develop feelings or get attracted to one another because of the environment they find themselves in.
In his words, “A lot of people who watch Big Brother Naija are very hypocritical. The truth is that there is nothing wrong if two people like themselves and decide to be intimate. Inside that house, all the housemates see each other naked. That is something many viewers don’t know. You cannot stay with someone you see without clothes almost every day and not feel attracted to them. It is only natural.”

Adekunle stressed that the BBNaija house exposes contestants to situations that are not common outside. He explained that housemates live together in the same space, sharing bathrooms, bedrooms, and other private corners, which makes it easy to become close and even cross boundaries.
He added that it was wrong for the public to shame or attack contestants whenever clips of intimacy surface online, because what happens in the house is part of the reality of living in such a confined environment.
Adekunle’s comments have sparked fresh debate among fans of the show. While some agreed with his point that attraction is normal in such situations, others still criticized the level of intimacy displayed on screen.
