Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold has placed his fans in excitement mood with a cryptic countdown teasing a show in Lagos, after reminiscing on his recent performance abroad.
AG announced plans to bring magic home: “I can’t wait to take this experience on the road, starting with my amazing BFF in Lagos. You don’t have to wait long because we go in 4, 3, 2, 1… 🦈”
The “Big Fish” himself dropped the hint on X while sharing an emotional message recounting how hearing his daughter Deja’s proud voice calling him onstage from backstage motivated him to pour everything into the show.

“Hearing my little girl’s voice from backstage, confident, proud, bragging about her daddy and calling me onto that stage, I knew I had no choice but to give everything I had. I couldn’t let her down. I couldn’t let you down,” he posted.
He spoke in all honesty about the sacrifices put in place for the show and appreciation for the love: “All the nights leading to this show without sleep, dreaming, working, believing, hoping, worrying. But on this night, more than anything else, I felt LOVED. Truly loved. And it made every sacrifice worth it. You are worth it all. Thank you.”
