AKA demands apology as South Africans reject Burna Boy

Music star, Burna Boy has received a lot of backlash from South-Africans. He has been called out to keep to his vow of never setting foot in South Africa. Recently, the singer confirmed that he will be performing at the Africans Unite Concert in S.A , read HERE.

More outrage! A group known as the Tshwane Entertainment Collective in South- Africa have raised objection against the concert.

In an open letter written to the Minister of Arts and Culture, they have called on the government to withdraw from funding the show unless the singer is removed from the line-up .

Above all, the leader of the group revealed that their artists do not want to perform alongside Burna.

On the other hand, South-African star rapper , AKA has publicly written to Burna demanding an apology before he could perform in the country.

But the internet never forgets. Recall that in September this year, Burna Boy tweeted his vow. Fast forward to November 2019, he has been named as a headline act alongside Jidenna and Kwesta at next weekend’s concert in Capetown, South-Africa after he vowed never to go to the country.

Although, Burna and AKA used to be friends until the Xenophobia attacks in Tshawane when things got ugly between them.
