In a deeply emotional interview on Biola Adebayo’s “Talk to B” platform, a close neighbor of late Nollywood actress Princess Allwell Ademola has shared a heartbreaking, account of the final hours leading to the actress’s tragic passing on December 27, 2025.
The neighbor recounted how everything unfolded in distress: “Allwell called me at exactly 1:34pm to know if I was home, I knew something was wrong so my husband and I, along with my son went to her apartment.”

They arrived to find the door locked and could not enter. Peering through the window, they saw the actress naked and in severe distress, gasping for breath.
The neighbor pleaded with her to open the door. Once inside, they found her sitting close to the door, gasping heavily for breath. Her husband dashed out to seek first aid or medical help, but no nurses were available at nearby facilities.
The neighbor rallied help from neighbors; initially, about 3 people couldn’t manage, but eventually 5 to 6 people assisted in carrying her to the vehicle. During the process, she gasped for breath a second time.
They drove her to the hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival, believed to have suffered a heart attack.
The neighbor lamented that if Allwell had known the severity of the situation, she would not have minded if they had broken down the door to reach her faster. She also reflected on Allwell’s earlier words: when once asked what she would do in an emergency, the actress had replied, “I have good neighbors.”
She was laid to rest on January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos, following a Service of Songs the previous day.
