The 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is finally here! MultiChoice, the organisers of the prestigious awards event have announced renowned media personalities, Toke Makinwa and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as red carpet hosts.
Their announcement as hosts is even more symbolic because for the first time since it launched seven years ago, AMVCA is introducing a new category this year – the Best Dressed category, which will reward the most stylish male and female on the red carpet for their efforts. This new category is a very welcome development considering that there is no other event in the country and continent at large that sees attendees go all out with their looks as they do for the AMVCAs.
Makinwa is not new to the fashion game as she has became one of fashion’s most beloved faces; since she shot into the limelight years ago. While Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka‘s trendy outfits have broken the internet several times.
However, Nigerian celebrities are known for not disappointing in the fashion stakes either. AMVCA 2020 is sure to deliver memorable red carpet looks.
The event will be hosted by the fashion icons on March 14, 2020. The red carpet is scheduled to kick start at 4pm. It will be broadcast on all Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv at 7pm.
