Guinness World Records has officially reacted to the sensational bread-inspired outfit worn by former Big Brother Naija star Queen Mercy Atang at the 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), sparking fresh excitement around what could become a groundbreaking new record.

The reality TV star and entrepreneur stunned on the red carpet in a dramatic gown featuring approximately 500 real loaves of bread stacked onto it. Designed by celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani of Tiannah’s Empire, is a creative promotion for Atang’s bakery brand, Swit Cakes & Desserts.
According to circulating reports, Guinness World Records officials have expressed readiness to review the outfit.
They noted an existing record for the largest cake dress and are hopeful that Atang’s bread creation, with its impressive volume of loaves, could qualify for or establish a new world record category.
Atang, who described the move as strategic marketing, said: “What better place to advertise my business than the AMVCA?”
