British-Nigerian heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua has honored his two close friends and longtime team members, who tragically lost their lives in a December car crash in Ogun State, by permanently inking their names on his arm.
The former two-time world heavyweight champion got fresh tattoos of “Latz” for Kevin “Latif” Ayodele and “Sina” for Sina Ghami added beneath his existing outline of Africa on his bicep.

The crash occurred on December 29, 2025, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, when the Lexus SUV carrying Joshua, his friends, and driver collided with a stationary truck. Joshua sustained minor injuries and was hospitalised briefly before recovering.
Ayodele, a personal trainer and old friend known as “Latz,” and Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach, both died from their injuries at the scene. The driver was later charged with offenses including dangerous driving causing death.
Joshua has spoken emotionally about the loss, calling the pair “my brothers” and “my left and my right” in earlier tributes. He pledged ongoing support for their families, emphasizing his commitment to honoring their memory and dreams.
