Controversial relationship therapist Blessing CEO has cautioned Nollywood actress Doris Ogala against defaming the General Overseer of Grace Nation International, Pastor Chris Okafor, stating that whatever relationship existed between them was consensual, despite how it eventually ended.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, Doris Ogala had gone public with claims that Pastor Okafor promised to marry her but later became engaged to another woman.
She also alleged that the cleric shared private videos of her with his lawyer without her consent. Additionally, the actress accused him of spreading claims that she had an abortion, insisting instead that she suffered a miscarriage. Doris further vowed to disrupt the pastor’s wedding.

Despite the threats, Pastor Chris Okafor went ahead to marry his longtime partner, Pearl, in a wedding ceremony held on December 16, 2025, in Lekki, Lagos.
Reacting to the controversy, Blessing CEO insisted that the relationship between the actress and the pastor was consensual and questioned inconsistencies in Doris’ account.
She stated that as long as there was no force involved, both parties willingly participated in the relationship. Blessing CEO also challenged Doris’ narrative, pointing out contradictions, including her admission that she sought the pastor’s approval to marry another man due to pressure from her mother.
According to Blessing, Doris’ claims did not add up, noting that she allegedly denied her husband intimacy while maintaining a relationship with the pastor. She further alleged that the actress later left her marriage following domestic issues, allegedly on the pastor’s advice.
Blessing CEO emphasised that there was no written agreement or proof that Pastor Okafor promised marriage, adding that both parties were adults who made their choices.
She advised Doris Ogala to move on with her life, warning her to stop what she described as blackmail and defamation, especially now that the pastor is legally married.

You said when you were dating the pastor, you found a man who wanted to marry you and because your mum was on your neck, you got an approval from the pastor to marry the man. Your story is not aligning. You are talking like a 14 years old girl
“After marrying the man, you didn’t allow the man to have s*x with you but you were allowing the pastor. Then your hubby started beating you and the Pastor told you to leave. There is no written document where this Pastor promised to marry you. You both enjoyed the sex. You allowed him to use you at your age. This man is married. Pick up your pieces and move on with your life. Stop blackmailing him to buy you a house. You are defaming this man’ ‘
