The long-running paternity saga between Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke popularly called Davido and his alleged teen daughter Anu Adeleke, has escalated further after her mother, Ayo Labinjoh publicly called out media personality Daddy Freeze for his remarks defending the singer.
Daddy Freeze via an Instagram video, had waded into the saga claiming to have personally seen one of the DNA results confirming Davido is not Anu’s father, after speaking with members of both families.
Freeze advised Labinjoh to focus on raising her daughter independently, take the matter off social media, and pursue any further claims through legal channels like a court injunction rather than public pressure.

In a direct response shared widely on social media, Labinjoh fired back sharply, rejecting his intervention and accused him of using his influence to “brainwash Nigerians” with falsehoods. She said; “Daddy Freeze, we will request another test because the only DNA test that was done was altered in September 2014. There was no DNA swab. They took Anu’s blood, and Davido’s blood was drawn separately in a room in which we were not allowed to enter.”
Refuting claims that five DNA was done, she said: “The ONLY DNA TEST he did is what you saw. Post it! The false negative test with a big bag of money. There is no record of 5 DNA tests anywhere and I never picked any hospital. Dr Adeleke picked the hospital lab and paid for it… Last year they said it was two. Today it’s 5. Stop using the power of influencing to brainwash Nigerians to believe lies. Money cannot buy everything.”
Labinjoh has stressed that her daughter is “fighting for her identity,” not material gain, and highlighted the emotional toll, including threats and harsh language allegedly directed at Anu in private chats with Davido.
