Nigerian reality television star and entrepreneur, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as BamBam, has candidly reflected on the physical toll of motherhood and the profound impact of having a supportive partner during her postpartum journey.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate, who shares two children with her husband, Tope Adenibuyan (Teddy A), admitted in an interview circulating online that the changes her body underwent following her pregnancies were far beyond anything she had anticipated. She noted that the “thick” physique she now carries was a significant departure from her pre-motherhood expectations.
BamBam, who shared these intimate thoughts during a recent media engagement, expressed deep gratitude for her husband’s unwavering acceptance of her evolving frame. She highlighted how crucial it is for women to be paired with partners who are empathetic to the biological realities of childbirth.

“Imagine I had a man whose ‘spec’ was strictly his ‘spec’ and wasn’t open to the transition phases that I went through with each pregnancy. It makes a world of difference when you are loved through every version of yourself,” she added.
Taken back to March 7, 2026, eelive.ng reported that BamBam and Teddy A are having marriage crisis, as rumors escalated wildly, including false claims of BamBam being pregnant with actor Uzor Arukwe’s child prompting Arukwe to threaten legal action over the baseless link. Some pointed to Teddy A’s podcast appearance addressing past domestic violence allegations as a trigger.
