Doris Okorie, one of this season’s Big Brother Naija housemates, is already turning heads. The 33-year-old actress from Imo State says she joined the show because her life was getting boring and she needed something exciting.
Her exact words, “I want to go into the house, cause some not-so-innocent problems, and bounce.”
One wonders if Doris will be the troublemaker of this season, or just someone who speaks her mind?
Doris says she used to live in an all-girls boarding school for six years, and she misses the kind of drama that came with it. She describes herself as very particular about her space and believes that when you’re in someone’s house, you should follow their rules.

One of Doris’s most controversial statements so far is that she does not believe people can truly forgive. She said, “You just get angry again whenever you think of what was done to you. How is that forgive and forget?”
Although Doris says she is on the “thick” side, she says she can do a cartwheel and a front-flip. She also says she knows how to sew with neat stitches, even though many people don’t believe her.
The reality TV star has also described herself as creative, ambitious, and someone who doesn’t start trouble, but will always finish it if it comes her way.
“If you go low, I shall be in hell fanning the flames,” she boldly said.
Doris has also stated that she’s not in a relationship because most people today only care about what they can get. “Relationships are so exhausting,” she said. “Until I feel butterflies, I shall remain single.”
She shared that the last time she felt butterflies was in 2018, but the man love-bombed her and left. She returned his chain, but he never returned hers.
Doris may not see herself as a troublemaker, but her words and attitude are already making her one of the most talked-about housemates.
