Big Brother Naija Season 11 has confirmed a major game-changer.
Housemates Aikou and Flora have been fully released from their Gambit roles and are now eligible to compete for the record ₦160 million grand prize.
The official Big Brother Naija and Africa Magic Instagram accounts announced the news earlier today declaring “THE GAMBIT HAS BEEN RELEASED!”

The post stated: “The Gambit chapter is officially closed for Flora and Aikou. Biggie has released them from their Gambit roles, which means they are now fully participating housemates and eligible to compete for the prize money.”
Earlier in the season, viewers voted the pair as the first Gambits. The special role guaranteed them immunity from eviction and a place until the finale, but barred them from winning the top prize. They instead operated as Biggie’s secret agents, carrying out undercover missions while the rest of the house competed normally.

On Sunday’s live show, Biggie introduced “Operation Release the Gambit,” handing viewers the power to decide whether one or both should regain prize eligibility. The official accounts have now confirmed that both Aikou and Flora have been released.
The pair lose their automatic safety but regain the chance to win the full ₦160 million package; ₦100 million cash plus an SUV.
