Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has taken over as the new Head of House for week seven. She replaced Faith, who was serving as interim Head of House.
The Monday afternoon challenge was tense as housemates battled for the top spot. Thelma showed her strength and outperformed fellow contestants including Koyin, Faith, Jason Jae, Bright Morgan, and Kaybobo to clinch the position.
After her victory, Big Brother asked her to name her deputy and house guest.
Thelma mentioned Mide. This means Mide will now enjoy the privileges of the exclusive Head of House lounge alongside Thelma.
By becoming Head of House, Thelma has secured immunity from this week’s eviction, this development puts her ahead of others in the game. She also gains more control over house decisions and influence in the weekly tasks.
Big Brother officially announced her win, saying: “Housemates, you all know that delay isn’t denial. Congratulations, Head of House Thelma Lawson.”
When asked to choose her house guest, Thelma simply replied, “Mide.”
With her new position, people now await what Thelma will use her power in the house and what changes she might bring in week seven.
