Mercy Eke, a former Big Brother Naija star, clarified that her relationship with fellow housemate Whitemoney was purely a strategic allianceto improve their chances of staying in the house.
She explained that they developed this alliance early on during their first week in the Big Brother Naija house.
She said, “Me and Whitemoney’s relationship was just an alliance. In the first week, he already told me that we would be a target in the House so we should stick by each other. He said it was only he and I that were different in the House.”
Mercy Eke explained that while she formed an alliance with Whitemoney early in their Big Brother Naija journey, she remained true to herself and focused on having fun in the house.
She expressed uncertainty about whether Whitemoney developed romantic feelings for her over time, but she emphasized that for her, it was all part of the game and she had no romantic feelings towards him.
She continued, “But I was still myself. I was still trying to have fun. But I don’t know if he started developing feelings inside. It wasn’t anything. It was just an alliance. No feelings there at all. It was just a game.”
During her time in the All Stars house, Mercy Eke engaged in various aspects of the game, including forming alliances and engaging in romantic interactions.
She mentioned that she kissed both Whitemoney and Pere during the season.
Eke emphasized that she made efforts to avoid giving Whitemoney the wrong impression and considered everything, including her interactions, as part of her game tactics.
