Neo Akpofure, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has threatened to take legal action against one Ms Arikan Udoka, who earlier alleged that the reality star sexually assaulted her.

As reported earlier by eelive.ng, Udoka had alleged that Akpofure raped her when they were at the University of Calabar. She also challenged the reality star to publicly deny the accusation.

@NeoAkpofure is also a rapist. He raped me in Unical, he should come out and deny it. We were casual sex buddies with the clause that he wasn’t in a relationship. I found out he was and went to his apartment to confront him. So he raped me. Neo, come and say you didn’t do it

Reacting, Akpofure via his social media on Wednesday demanded a public  retraction and apology over allegations of sexual assault made against him.

In a letter dated February 18, 2026, and issued by the law firm E.L. Akpofure, San & Co., the legal counsel of the reality star accused Udoka, of publishing defamatory content against their client.

The legal team also denied the allegation, describing it as “entirely false, malicious and defamatory,” and accused the accuser of damaging their client’s reputation and exposing him to public ridicule.

“The allegation falsely portrays our client as a sexual offender and a criminal, thereby subjecting him to public odium, reputational injury and emotional distress,” the letter stated.

The legal notice demanded that the accuser delete the post and any related publications, issue a clear public retraction, and publish an apology acknowledging that the allegations were untrue. The lawyers also requested a written undertaking that no further defamatory statements would be made.

The firm warned that failure to comply within 48 hours would result in legal action, including a civil suit for defamation under Nigerian law.
