Tiwa Savage spotted at the state banquet held at Windsor Castle, UK

The event, which is part of Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s official state visit to the UK, the first in 37 years, featured 160 distinguished guests, including Tiwa Savage, alongside figures like rugby captain Maro Itoje, author Sir Ben Okri, and footballer Eniola Aluko.

The vegetarian menu accommodated Ramadan observances, highlighting diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Britain.

Online critics dragged Tiwa for participating, questioning her alignment amid Nigeria’s challenges. Her post sparked widespread debate, with many agreeing the invite represented a national honor and global recognition of Tiwa’s influence as Africa’s Afrobeats queen.
