Opeyemi Ayanwale Imisioluwa, who emerged victorious in Big Brother Naija Season 10, is set to establish a foundation aimed at empowering the girl child.
This comes following her win of an extra N2m cheque from BetKing. The prize was a reward for a competition she participated in during her stint in the BBNaija house.

Expressing her emotions at the cheque presentation ceremony in Lagos, Imisi said she felt “overwhelmed, happy, and grateful” for the recognition. Reminiscing on her challenging upbringing, she revealed that her experiences had fueled her desire to support young girls facing similar difficulties. “As a lady, I know what it was growing up… I would like to do something for a girl child, something like a foundation because that has always been my desire,” Imisi stated.

The reality TV star credited BBNaija for significantly boosting her public profile. “I have been an actress for a while now, but Big Brother really gave me the exposure, and I am grateful,” she said.

BetKing’s Head of Marketing, Nengi Akinola, explained that the cash prize was part of the company’s strategy to reward participants and showcase its exclusive games to a broader audience through BBNaija.

“We released some exclusive games this season, for instance, Danfo Lagos, a take on our popular transportation buses. We also released JJ Ball X, a collaboration with Jay Jay Okocha. It’s a game where the avatar has to kick the ball,” she said.
