Big Brother Naija star Faith Adewale has sparked a fresh conversation on the state of journalism and celebrity culture following a candid post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday.
In the viral tweet, Faith expressed strong reservations about doing interviews, stating that he finds no real value in explaining himself to strangers.

Faith, known for his calm and introspective personality both on and off screen, Faith didn’t hold back his thoughts about modern day journalism. According to him, many interviews lack depth and rely heavily on sensationalism to drive clicks rather than genuinely inform or inspire audiences.
“I hate interviews, but I have been advised to accept a few,” he began. “I see no reason to explain myself to strangers. I would rather interview people and get them to speak while I listen. I watch a lot of these interviews and I’m not impressed with the questions that are asked,” he continued. “We are reducing journalism to clickbait and sensationalism. People deserve better.”
