Akide, who participated in the 2019 Big Brother Naija edition, mentioned that hard work, playing fair, and following the rules don’t guarantee success as often claimed by guardians and those in authority.
Taking to X, Akide had this to say, “All my life I was told: work hard, play fair, follow the rules, and life will reward you.
Then you grow up and realize the rules were written by the winners, who never follow them.
The people who preach fairness don’t always play fair.
Being a good person doesn’t guarantee success. It just means you can sleep at night.”
