Popular Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has taken to social media to raise alarm after accusing a man identified as Emmanuel Davis of illegally uploading her movie on YouTube, an action she says led to her own content being demonetised on the platform.

According to the actress, the individual allegedly copied the film in full and posted it on his personal YouTube channel without authorisation. Bimbo claimed that the unauthorised upload triggered copyright issues which resulted in YouTube suspending monetisation on her official content, thereby affecting her revenue and reach.
Ademoye expressed frustration over the situation, describing it as unfair and damaging to the hard work she and her team invested in the production.

She further alleged that the same person extracted a soundtrack from the movie and uploaded it to Spotify and other digital streaming services, again without permission. The actress said this amounted to a clear case of intellectual property theft and urged the relevant platforms to take swift action to remove the infringing material.
