Burna Boy, a Grammy award winner, has revealed the reason for his admiration for black women.

The singer-songwriter, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, disclosed that his favourite thing about black women is that they are an extension of him.

The ‘African Giant’ crooner revealed this in a recent conversation with Cocoa Butter in Atlanta, Georgia.

The interviewer asked: “What is your favourite thing about black women?”

Burna Boy replied: “First of all, it’s the fact that they are an extension of me. I must always love myself, so I must love my black women.”

The singer had in the past dedicated some of his songs like, ‘Onyeka’, ‘Omo’ and ‘On The Low’ to black women.

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He gained recognition in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party“, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E.

In other news, Nigerian songstress Tems has mentioned what she enjoys about being a black woman.

According to the Grammy award winner, she loves her curvy physique.

Tems disclosed this in a recent conversation with Cocoa Butter in Atlanta, Georgia.

My favourite thing about being a black woman? I love being curvy. I love that I have a little booty, you know what I’m saying?” she expressed.

The Oscar-nominated diva also spoke about her fashion influences and choices.

I’m definitely into details. I’m definitely into the bling. I think Nigerians are very extravagant in everything and I’m very into that. But I always put my own spin and I’m not afraid to be who I am,” Tems added.
