Blackface, Nigerian dancehall singer and member of Plantashun Boiz, a now-defunct music group has reacted to the link-up between his former bandmates, 2Baba and Faze.

This comes after Chibuzor Oji better known as Faze shared a video on Instagram on Saturday of himself and 2Baba singing one of their old songs.

Plantashun Boiz, formed in 2000, consisted of 2Baba, Faze, and Blackface. The group, known for its blend of hip-hop and R&B, disbanded in 2004 after releasing two albums.

Following the split, 2Baba signed with Kennis Music and released ‘Face 2 Face’, one of the most monumental albums in Nigerian music history.

The album featured the classic hit ‘African Queen’, which catapulted him to international stardom. In 2008, 2Baba left Kennis Music to establish his record label, Hypertek Entertainment.
