Controversial social media influencer and relationship therapist Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, known as Blessing CEO, has been granted ₦10 million bail by Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned her on two counts of obtaining ₦36 million by false pretence and stealing. Prosecutors allege she collected the sum from complainant Mrs Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14 and 17, 2024, claiming it was for leasing a luxury duplex in Lekki, which she allegedly knew to be false.

Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges. Her counsel informed the court of partial repayment to the complainant and sought time to perfect the bail terms. However, the EFCC opposed extended stay in their custody, citing facility constraints. The judge ordered her to be remanded in a correctional facility until bail conditions, including sureties, are fulfilled.
The matter was adjourned to June 22, 2026, for continuation of the trial. Defence sources say efforts are underway to meet the conditions swiftly.
The case comes amid prior public scrutiny over Blessing CEO’s cancer fundraising claims. The development highlights ongoing EFCC efforts against alleged property fraud involving high-profile individuals.
