Social media influencer and self-styled relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos following her latest arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The influencer appeared before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi on Wednesday, where she pleaded not guilty to a fresh six-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence.
The EFCC accused her of allegedly defrauding members of the public, including through donations solicited after claims of battling Stage 4 breast cancer. The commission said investigations revealed that documents she presented to support the cancer claims were falsified.

Blessing CEO revealed in a Facebook post that she had spent 26 days in EFCC custody before her court appearance. She disclosed that the cases stem partly from tenancy-related disputes involving N36 million and N69 million, which she insists were not house sales conducted through her office. This marks the second time she has been remanded at Kirikiri, having previously been detained there in 2022 over defamation and cyberbullying allegations.
Despite the setback, Blessing’s CEO expressed optimism that justice would prevail. She thanked her supporters for standing by her and urged them to continue praying for her as she works to perfect her bail conditions. The case has been adjourned for further hearing.
