Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has publicly expressed heartfelt gratitude to his younger brother, Yul Edochie, for playing a major role in reigniting his career in the film industry.
In a recent Instagram post, Linc revealed that Yul first encouraged him to return to acting back in 2015, after he had taken a long break from the industry. However, he admitted that he didn’t take action immediately due to procrastination, only making his official comeback in 2020.
Reflecting on Yul’s influence, Linc praised his brother as a brilliant actor and accomplished filmmaker. He shared that Yul, who is professionally trained in theatre arts, mentored him and passed on valuable skills that have significantly improved his performances on screen.

Linc wrote., “Blood is thicker than water. Many don’t know this, but it was my brother Yul who urged me to return to Nollywood in 2015 after a long hiatus. I procrastinated but finally came back in 2020. Some of the things I now do in movies, I learned from him because he is a Theatre professional, while I have a passion for it. Love or hate him, this man remains one of the greatest actors and filmmakers in this country. Ezedike @yuledochie , mmuo ka I bu. GOD bless you always”.
