Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu and his wife, Ehinome Akhuemokhan, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, four years after their wedding.
The news was announced on their church’s social media page, which shared a congratulatory message celebrating the newborn’s arrival.
“Hearty congratulations on the birth of your baby girl, Angela Ritsa Evanna Chukwujekwu. We rejoice with you on this beautiful gift from the Lord. May your home be filled with divine love, joy and God’s grace as you raise your precious daughter in His light,” the post read.
It would be recalled that Blossom and Ehinome tied the knot in 2022 in Benin City, Edo State, in a ceremony attended by family, friends and well-wishers.
Their marriage came about three years after the actor’s separation from his former wife, Maureen Esisi.
Blossom and Esisi got married in 2015 but ended their marriage in 2019 after four years together.
In April 2025, Esisi opened up about the emotional impact of the separation, revealing that she struggled with thoughts of self-harm following the end of the marriage. She also described the day the union ended as one of the most painful moments of her life.
Reflecting on the experience, she recalled being informed that the marriage was over and said the news left a lasting emotional impact on her.
“Worst day today. Work sucked greatly my heart sank too… Weird thing is by this time last year, exactly same date and the same time, my old man broke to me the news of my marriage being over,” she had said.
“I remember laughing for a long time, standing up from where I sat listening to him as he tried to find the best words to convey the message to me.”
