Judge John Ouderkirk made his thoughts on the case clear earlier today in the ruling after months of witness testimony. The testimony includes notes from child services professionals who interviewed the kids and others who have been around the family.

A source close to the issue called it a “tentative decision” adding that Jolie plans to continue her legal fight.

“Joint custody is not the issue that Angelina objects to, there were other issues of concern, but the court proceedings are closed and sealed. There was a safety order surrounding the previous custody arrangements, that is public, and the kids schedule has been set under the jurisdiction of the division of family services for over three years”. The source also added.

The History

The couple met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004 while Pitt and actress, Jennifer Aniston were a couple. Even though they reportedly fell in love then, they claim they respected Pitt’s marriage.

Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005 after five years together citing irreconcilable differences. The two hung out a lot after this, fueling dating rumors. Then in January 2006, Jolie finally announced she was carrying Pitt’s child.

The couple got engaged in 2012, after seven years together, and then finally tied the knot in August 2014.

Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, citing the ‘the health of the family’. According to reports, this was because of a conflict on a private flight from France to Los Angeles in which she accused Pitt of behaving abusively to their son Maddox.

Brad faced no charges in connection with the incident amid probes from the FBI and social services.
