Nigerian reality star, Terseer Waya, who is better known as KiddWaya, thinks that Nigeria should have been colonised much longer by its colonial masters.
It would be recalled that Nigeria gained its independence on October 1st, 1960.
After several years as a nation, Nigerian reality star KiddWaya is of the opinion that Nigeria hasn’t developed, nor has it been able to achieve its utmost potential since gaining independence.

In a post shared on X, Kidd opined that Nigeria would have been a lot more developed if the British had stayed back in the country for at least 10 to 15 years more.

Terseer Kidd Waya, known professionally as Kiddwaya, is a Nigerian entrepreneur, actor and reality TV star. He gained prominence as a contestant on the Big Brother Naija season 5.
Meanwhile, the British colonisation of Nigeria began in the 19th century through trade and military force. Britain gained formal control of the Lagos colony in 1861. They merged the Northern and Southern Protectorates into a single colony in 1914. Nigeria remained under British rule until it gained independence on October 1, 1960.
