Brooke Hogan, the daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, has shared a heartfelt tribute to her father after his passing.
Recall that the wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, died at the age of 71 last week after a cardiac arrest in Clearwater, Florida. Despite their estrangement, Brooke expressed her love and pride in being Hulk Hogan’s daughter. “My dad’s blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our blood has never broken, not even in his final moments,” she wrote.
Their complicated relationship was marked by Brooke’s decision to remove herself from her father’s will in 2023 to avoid potential financial battles after his death. Brooke’s concern was protecting her father from those she felt were taking advantage of him, but they disagreed on the matter.
Brooke revealed that she and her husband, Steven Olesky, had moved to Florida to be closer to her father as he aged, attending nearly 25 surgeries together. However, Hulk Hogan suddenly didn’t want her presence at his surgeries, leading to a drift in their relationship.
In her emotional post, Brooke described her father as someone she loved deeply, and despite their distance, she remained committed to him. “You were my everything, and I will always be your girl. I am PROUD to be your daughter—for all the love, light, and goodness you brought into this world,” she captioned a heartfelt video montage.
