Burna Boy Talks Mum, Fela-Inspiration And More On “The Breakfast Club”

Burna Boy was a guest on the “The Breakfast Club” recently, where he spoke on everything about him, from fusing Hip-Hop with Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti being his biggest inspiration and more juicy details about his recently released album.

In the interview, Burna talks to the hosts about how he feels about the hype about him right now, being the Nigerian frontman at the moment and how his inspiration is culmination of various important characters in and around his life.

“Naming my album – African Giant – is very significant for me, cos it shines the spotlight on something that it hasn’t been on in a long time,” Burna shared.
He also talks about his mum being his manager from the beginning of his career, since he set his mind on being an artiste from as early as age 10.
