Nigerian rapper CDQ, whose real name is Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, recently revealed that his early success in the music industry transformed his family members’ lives.
Speaking to Carter Efe on his Twitch account, the indigenous hip-hop artiste disclosed that immediately after scoring his first major hit, he decided to relocate his mother and siblings abroad to give them a better life.
“Immediately I got my first hit, I relocated my mum and my siblings to Spain. They’ve been staying there for about seven years now,” he said.

CDQ went on to explain that providing comfort and stability for his family had always been one of his biggest motivations.
