
Chadwick Boseman, the talented actor best known for his iconic role as King T’Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Panther, will be honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 20.
This recognition comes five years after his untimely passing at the age of 43 due to colon cancer.

Boseman’s legacy extends far beyond his superhero role. He was a versatile actor who brought to life remarkable individuals such as Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall, showcasing his incredible range and dedication to his craft.

The ceremony, will be attended by notable figures, including director Ryan Coogler, who worked with Boseman on Black Panther, and actress Viola Davis, his co-star in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will accept the star on his behalf as this will serve as a reminder of his lasting impact on the entertainment industry.


Boseman’s remarkable career was marked by numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Primetime Emmy nomination. His posthumous Oscar nomination for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom cemented his place as one of the most talented actors of his generation.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce however, praised Boseman’s extraordinary legacy, stating, “His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world.” The star will be located at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard, a permanent tribute to his remarkable contributions to the world of cinema.
