Nollywood actor and internet personality Charles Okocha was declared the winner of his highly anticipated celebrity boxing rematch against street-pop singer Portable on Friday night after the controversial artiste walked out of the ring amid chaos.
The bout, billed as “Unfinished Business” and held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, ended in the opening round.
What began as a competitive exchange quickly turned into a wrestling-style scuffle. The referee and security personnel struggled to separate the fighters before Portable stormed out of the ring, drawing boos from the crowd. Officials later disqualified him and awarded the victory to Okocha.

The rivalry as reported by eelive, dates back to 2023, when Portable accused Okocha of cheating him in a business deal involving tens of millions of naira.
The public feud culminated in their first sanctioned fight at Landmark Beach, Victoria Island, in December 2023. Portable dominated the early rounds with aggressive attacks, while Okocha fought back strongly in the second.
Both men appeared exhausted by the fourth round and declined to continue. Portable was declared the winner and awarded a championship belt, a result Okocha immediately disputed as unfair and poorly refereed.
Okocha had long called for a rematch, activating a clause after Portable’s recent loss of his celebrity boxing crown to Carter Efe. This time, the actor got his revenge in dramatic fashion, celebrating with the belt while Portable protested the decision.
