Nigerian culinary talent, Chef Dammy, has officially graduated as a certified professional chef, marking a major milestone in her journey.
The Ekiti-born chef first captured national attention in 2023 when she attempted a 120-hour cooking marathon, a bold move that sparked widespread conversation and mixed reactions online.
Despite the criticism and public scrutiny she faced at the time, Chef Dammy remained focused on her passion for cooking. In 2025, she completed a Professional Culinary Art Chef diploma at the prestigious Hospitality Business School in Lagos, Nigeria. She was awarded a full scholarship to study at the institution, which she proudly described as Nigeria’s top hospitality school.

Celebrating her achievement, Chef Dammy expressed heartfelt gratitude, in her words: “It’s safe to say Chef Dammy is officially a professional chef.Grateful to have graduated from the best hospitality school in Nigeria, first in Africa and among the top 10 in the world.Cheers to the grace of God and the favor of men that have brought me this far.
