Veteran Nigerian actress Patience Umeh has disclosed that her colleague, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, does not accept romantic roles in movies.
The film star claimed in a recent episode of the Where Is The Lie podcast.
She attributed Chioma’s rejection of romantic roles to her Catholic upbringing.

“Chioma Chukwuka was brought up in a very Catholic home. She doesn’t accept kissing or romantic roles in movies. I’m saying this out of experience. She was a legionary. She has been a good girl,” Umeh remarked.

However, contrary to her claims, Chioma Chukwuka has played romantic roles in a number of Nollywood films, most recently in Seven Doors, where she kissed her co-star, Femi Adebayo.

Equally, Chioma Chukwuka is a Nigerian actress, director, and movie producer. In 2007, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for “Best Actress in a leading role” for her performance in the movie “Sins of the flesh”, and the Afro Hollywood award for best actress in a lead role in 2010.
