Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola clarified that the deceased son of veteran actor Ibrahim Chatta is not his biological son, but rather his godson.
As previously reported by eelive.ng, Ibrahim Chatta announced the death of his son via his verified social media account.
Along with a picture of the boy, Chatta expressed his acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty and offered prayers for his son to rest in peace.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ileyhi rajiun Ya Allah. You are the knower of all things. Rest on dear son. Champ,” he wrote.

However, speaking the actress via her social media handle on Sunday noted that the actor did not lose his biological son but godson.
In her words: “Ibrahim Chatta did not lose his biological son but a godson who was like a son to him. May his soul Rest In Peace’’
Her revelation stiired reactions from netizens.
One user commented: “Either his godson or biological son. No one deserves to die young. May God grant him eternal rest and heal the broken hearts.
