A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of a property linked to socialite and entertainer Pretty Mike over allegations that it was used to store and distribute illegal drugs.
Justice Musa Kakaki issued the order on Tuesday following an ex parte application filed by counsel to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Buhari Abdullahi.
The property identified as Proxy Lagos Nightclub, located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island is alleged to have been used to store 169 cylinders (384.662kg) of nitrous oxide, popularly known as laughing gas, as well as 200 grams of cannabis.

The NDLEA claimed the facility, said to be owned by Mike Nwalie (popularly known as Pretty Mike) and one Joachim Hillary, was allegedly being prepared as a base for storing and distributing illicit substances ahead of a planned “drug party.”
Moving the application, Abdullahi urged the court to grant the interim forfeiture, arguing that the premises constituted “an instrumentality of crime under the NDLEA Act.” He also asked the court to halt all activities at the nightclub to preserve the property during ongoing investigations.
“It is a statutory requirement to secure an interim order to safeguard the property while investigations continue. No party will suffer prejudice by this order,” Abdullahi submitted.
An affidavit deposed to by Deputy Commander of Narcotics, Nasiru Garba Bungudu, stated that the agency received intelligence in October 2025 about an alleged large-scale drug event being planned at the club. Following surveillance, NDLEA operatives reportedly raided the premises around midnight on October 26, 2025, seizing the substances and arresting over 200 individuals, including the two alleged owners.
The NDLEA further told the court that laboratory analysis confirmed the substances recovered during the raid.
After reviewing the motion and supporting documents, Justice Kakaki ordered the interim forfeiture and directed that the nightclub remain sealed pending the conclusion of investigations.
