Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, have given fans an intimate glimpse into their wedding day following an exclusive feature by Vogue.
The couple tied the knot in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on August 11, 2026, marking a major milestone after a decade together. Their management confirmed the ceremony, which was attended by their five children.
Vogue’s newly released feature offers a closer look at the couple’s decision to keep the celebration deliberately small, with Rodríguez revealing that the wedding took place in the living room of their home.
According to the fashion publication, the date held special significance for the couple as it marked 10 years since they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid in 2016.
Rather than staging a lavish celebrity wedding, Rodríguez said she wanted an intimate celebration surrounded by Ronaldo and their children, describing privacy as particularly valuable given their global fame.
The couple also turned to Gucci for their wedding outfits, paying homage to the location where their love story began.
Vogue’s feature, photographed by acclaimed photographer Juergen Teller, also captured intimate moments from the celebration and the family’s time together.
Following the ceremony, the couple travelled to the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima for a blessing.
Rodríguez later described the wedding as exactly what she had imagined: intimate, filled with love and centred on their family.
