Music executive Damilola Akinwunmi Dapper Damm has responded to allegations of unpaid earnings and claims made by some former artistes associated with his label.
Dapper addressed the controversy in posts on X, insisting that he has nothing to hide and that records relating to the matter are with the authorities.
“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth,” he wrote.
He also pushed back against what he described as narratives being circulated online, accusing those involved of attempting to mislead the public with their accounts of events.
According to Dapper, the artistes who left his label did so by choice and were not forced to walk away.

“You chose to leave! No one forced you, and we are fine without you! Move on! Stop acting obsessed!!!!!” he stated.
The music executive appeared to reference the wider public debate involving former artistes, including Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi, whose experiences have sparked discussions about contracts, payments and relationships between artistes and music executives.
In another post, Dapper suggested that he had to say but chose not to trade insults because of his love for music.
“So much to say, but so few ways to say it,” he wrote, suggesting that the controversy may not be over as the parties’ accounts continue to attract attention.
