Popular singer, songwriter, and record producer Davido has revealed that Akwa Ibom State was his top choice to host his music concert due to its quality facilities as he embarks on his Nigerian tour for his fourth album 5ive.
Speaking at a pre-concert reception in Uyo, Davido praised the state’s inherent potentials, saying everything about Akwa Ibom is “beautiful.” He commended Governor Umo Eno for maintaining peace, security and providing platforms for youths to excel.

Davido stated that Akwa Ibom was one of the top five places he considered for the concert because the state’s facilities stood out. “When we were looking around Africa, five places came, and Akwa Ibom was at the top of the list. A lot of people are flying from other states that don’t have this type of facility,” he said.
The music icon expressed his excitement about the concert, noting that the stadium was already filled up. “You have a standard facility, that’s why we are starting here. As time goes, we will keep doing the other states and I am just excited the stadium is already filled up, so let’s get ready and shut it down.”
Governor Eno also appreciated Davido for being an inspiration to the younger generation and for sharing the stage with local entertainers.
Recall that the singer, had earlier announce he his bringing his fourth album 5ive tour to Nigeria as we prepare for detty December. However his first location as shared by the singer is Akwa Ibom at the Godswill Akpabio stadium with happened yesterday October 18.
