Davido, the Nigerian Afrobeat artist who’s currently on a world tour for his ‘5ive’ album, recently clashed with a troll on X.
This comes after a troll while responding to the singer’s post, tweeted, “If no be silver spoon wey them born you with, two of us suppose dey the same level now,” implying that Davido’s success is due to his privileged upbringing.
Responding, Davido fired back, “Na your mama go knack wrong person, no be my problem bro.”

This is not the first time Davido’s found himself in online feuds. He and fellow artist Wizkid have had a heated exchange on X, with both artists trading barbs about their careers and influence.
The singer seem to be facing quite a lot online as he has been making headlines back to back. Recall that, he cancelled two of his shows which ignited disappointment from his fans. Davido canceled his show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, scheduled for July 3, 2025, due to major misalignments regarding the event’s execution” and issues with upholding the quality of his performance. The show was supposed to feature 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige.
He also canceled his concerts in Montreal and Quebec City as part of his “Timeless 5IVE Alive Tour” due to “organisational misalignment” between his management and local Canadian promoters. The cancellations were made to “protect the integrity of the tour experience” as stated by the singer.
However, his management advised fans to monitor official ticket outlets for refunds or possible res judment or potential rescheduling. The rest of his North American and global tour dates, including stops in New York, Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles, are expected to go ahead as planned.
