His reaction comes as fresh videos surface showing the abducted principal of Community High School, Esiele, Mrs. Alamu, and another teacher desperately pleading for government intervention to secure their release. The videos, reportedly released by the kidnappers, highlight the dire conditions of the victims who have been in captivity for nearly two weeks.
The incident occurred on May 16 when gunmen attacked multiple schools in Oriire Local Government Area, including Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota, and others, abducting several pupils and seven teachers. Tragically, one teacher was killed in captivity.
Spyro had earlier lamented the insufficient public attention on the crisis and tagging major artistes including Davido and Wizkid to amplify calls for action against the rising insecurity and kidnapping menace in the country. Other celebrities like Kehinde Bankole, BamBam, Eniola Badmus and Tiwa Savage have also lent their voices to decry the silence amongst the governing bodies.
